Natural refrigerants

Environmentally responsible ...

To minimise the environmental impact of a thermal transfer system it must use refrigerants with the lowest possible global warming potential (GWP) as well as the lowest possible ozone depletion potential (ODP).

Natural refrigerants (including ammonia, carbon dioxide, air and water, as well as hydrocarbons) have the lowest GWP and ODP values.

They also feature in legislative and technical requirements in more and more countries. All Sabroe products are designed to operate with natural refrigerants as standard.

Using natural refrigerants opens up a whole new dimension for improving the efficiency and sustainability of industrial and commercial processes in which thermal transfer plays a part - large or small.
