Sabroe packaged liquid chillers (PLCH) based on reciprocating compressors are used when indirect cooling using a secondary refrigerant is required.

Sabroe PLCH chillers use R410A, a high-pressure refrigerant whose efficiency means that Sabroe PLCH designs are far more compact than chillers using other refrigerants.
