As part of its ongoing programme of technological innovation, Sabroe supplies high-performance refrigeration equipment that features the latest advances in technology.
At the IKK 2004 trade fair (the International Trade Fair for Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Ventilation), Sabroe will be presenting the following new Sabroe controls products.
The Sabroe Unisab II controller now includes new features that are available on single and multiple compressor installations. This means that facilities with the Sabroe Multisab software package already installed can now optimise their screw compressors and/or reciprocating compressors.
In addition, the Multisab sequencing system can improve the performance of both conventional compressors and variable-speed driven compressors.
The Sabroe Condensing Pressure (CP) Optimiser provides considerable energy savings in NH3 systems with evaporative condensers. By lowering the condensing pressure, it is possible to reduce compressor shaft energy, which means extra savings.
The device calculates the optimum condensing temperature and transmits this to the condenser controller or to a variable-speed drive to improve condenser performance.
The CP Optimiser can be added to existing plants and integrated into existing condenser controllers. Alternatively, it can be linked to a plant’s PLC control system to control the condenser capacity.
Sabroe supplies a full range of gas detection products that help prevent loss of refrigerant, and thus ensure maximum environmental protection. This means improved plant performance (less energy consumption) and lower costs for topping up the refrigerant charge.
Sabroe gas detection equipment includes a wide range of types of sensors for rooms, ducts, safety valve outlet lines, etc. Sabroe gas detection equipment employs different sensor technologies depending on the gas to be detected and the particular application – these being important considerations with regard to selectivity, service life, calibration and price.
Sabroe gas detectors can, of course, be linked into a central monitoring station or PLC system as part of a plant automation system.
